We believe that Jesus Christ established His church during His ministry on earth and that it is always a local, visible assembly of scripturally baptized believers in covenant relationship to carry out the Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ, and each church is an independent, self-governing body, and no other ecclesiastical body may exercise authority over it. We believe that Jesus Christ gave the Great Commission to the New Testament churches only, and that He promised the perpetuity of His churches (Matt. 4:18-22; Matt. 16:18; Matt. 28:19, 20; Mark 1:14-20; John 1:35-51; Eph. 3:21).

Jesus Christ established His church on the shores of the Sea of Galilee during his ministry on Earth. He was the Head of His church then and still is today. We recognize His authority and leadership of our church. As members of a local, New Testament church, we are part of the Bride of Christ, and we take that privilege very seriously.
We also recognize that our duty as a church is to carry out His Great Commission. What is the Great Commission?
Matthew 28:19-20 tells us 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. This is what our church is commanded to do, and it is the purpose behind every action we take.
We are church that worships the Lord in word, song, and deeds. We are blessed to have gifted musicians and singers that lead our church in worship and praise music. Everyone is encouraged to make a joyful noise unto the Lord at our church.
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, Discovery youth training for teens, and an active Saintly Seniors group. Also, we have both men and women's fellowship groups that meet regularly. One of the most wonderful things about our church family is its welcoming spirit toward newcomers. When you visit our church, you will be warmly welcomed and treated with good old-fashioned hospitality.
